"Not really," he admitted with a shrug. It was exhausting. His life was, literally, leaking out of his eyes and ears. He'd survive, but it wasn't fun.
Dean would have gladly taken blood from Sam if he thought for a second his brother was still willing, but between the vampire attack and Sam's reaction to the blood side-effects, he figured that was a lost cause. He was pretty sure Sam was just about thoroughly disgusted with him. Which, really, he had good reason to be as far as Dean could see.
He disappeared into the bathroom to wash off the blood and trunk gunk, letting himself soak up the warmth of the hot water a while. That was another thing he missed desperately now that he wasn't feeding regularly. That temporary warmth. Feeling of being alive, just for a minute.
Pointless to dwell on it. Dean shook off the funk and finished up before turning the water off and stepping out, drying off, and wrapping the towel around his waist to go back into the bedroom and get dressed.
