Even though Sam wasn't showing it, Dean could feel it. He kept it behind a blank mask, though. One good thing about vampire nature... they didn't show anything if they didn't want to.

Dean was really glad that bond only went one way. Right now he was so full of self-loathing, he really didn't want Sam to have any part of it. His brother would have been a lot better of if he'd never come looking for him.

He shook his head slowly at Sam's reaction. "It's temporary. Shouldn't be more than a week or two. Just didn't want it to catch you by surprise."
