Sam looked down, rubbing a hand over the back of his neck, through his hair. Hated hearing Dean talk like that, hated thinking that yeah, maybe he could lose his brother when he just got him back. That Dean might not always be like this, especially if he thought... whatever he had was slipping away. He'd lost too much already.

"Dean..."

He looked up when Dean looked at him, eyes widening a little at the explanation, not even... sure what to say. The explanation was good enough though, put him at ease enough to stand up. No, maybe he shouldn't do this, but if it gave Dean something back, kept his brother there...

"Dean," he started, going to settle on the edge of the closest bed to make this easier, stripping out of his jacket to offer more access. "Come here. I- want you to... now, not later." He looked up, a little more pleading this time.
