The taunt from Eric had stung him pretty good earlier and now... what was Sam getting at? Definitely shouldn't have offered. Hell, he shouldn't have taken Sam's offer in the first place. If Sam hadn't hadn't had his bite mark, Eric probably wouldn't have given him a second look.
