He was so tempted to just ignore him and go back to sleep, but... he saw that Dean hadn't bothered to pull the fabric down over himself, so reluctantly, he slipped out of bed to tug it down himself before going back to bed and trying to get a couple more hours at least.
They really did need to hit the road again after all.
And he did get a couple more hours of uneasy sleep before he was up and looking online for something up their alley and in the obituaries... anything he could think of.
By the time his brother's usual time to wake rolled around, Sam was dressed and poking at some Chinese take out he'd gotten, only half-interested. Hadn't been particularly hungry and he had other stuff on his mind.
