Dean watched Sam's fingers touch his neck. He repressed a sigh. Would give anything to be able to go back and make sure his brother didn't get hurt. He wouldn't have asked Sam to give him blood now. Probably wouldn't ask again. After seeing Sam bleeding out on that basement floor, Dean wasn't sure he could handle being the one to make him bleed.
"Oh..." Yeah, there was a conversation he was hoping to avoid. Still, it wasn't fair not to give Sam the truth. "Well, you read up on what they say on the 'net, right? Strong, fast, better health. There's, uh, there's also one other thing vampires don't like to make public..."
He rubbed at the back of his neck and tried to keep Sam's gaze even though he wanted to look away. "When you take blood directly from a vampire, there's a... sort of bond that forms. I'll be able to feel if you're upset or hurt or something. Feel how you're feeling. And, uh, you might... you might feel a little weird about me..."
