Still had a while before he had to hide from the sun, so he laid there and rested, occasionally watching Sam. Still worried about him. After what he went through tonight, he had every reason to be not okay, but he kept insisting he was. Dean never should have brought him along. It was too risky. Sam didn't deserve to be put into that kind of risky situation.
